*Montessori Matters – The Sensorial Materials –    December 1st

Another Cornerstone!!!!   What a wonderful opportunity to learn about the Sensorial Materials in our classrooms.   So beautiful and colorful….they call to the children!   Please join us on Thursday, Dec. 1 at 9:00am to learn more about the Sensorial materials and their importance in the Montessori classroom!

The Weather

Now that the cold weather is on its way, it will help us if your child’s clothing is labeled with their name inside.  Also, the children are learning how to put on their coats on by themselves and how to hang them up!  Encourage them to do the same at home!  It may take a bit more time but it will help to know how to do it before the snow pants come along!!   Snow???   Not yet, however, if the Fairfield Public Schools are delayed, we are delayed too…..but we will open at 10:00am   If they are closed due to the weather, we are closed.  All the local radio stations carry the information so stay tuned.  Hopefully it will be awhile before the snow arrives!  To learn of school delays or cancellations you may dial:

Toys

Please keep all the children’s toys at home or in the car.  We do not have a place to store them while they are at school and we would be sad if a treasure got lost in class.  Thank you for helping us out.

Your Child’s Schedule

During the week your child meets various people who are important to them and their development.  For a schedule of their weekly activities:
